Cake Tasting To-Go

$30.00

A tasting to-go does not require an appointment, you can tell us when you would like it to be prepared for pick-up and we will have it ready for you at our shop! We do just ask for about a weeks notice prior to submitting your order. You can take it home or on the road for you and yours to enjoy together wherever you are.

A To-Go box comes with a set of 6 different cupcakes (3 flavors, 2 of each), 8 cups of buttercream (4 flavors, 2 of each), 6 cups of filling (3 flavors, 2 of each), 2 Mini Sugar Cookies and 2 assorted cake balls. You and yours can each get a trial taste of what you might be looking for on the big day! Try a little of one filling, cake and buttercream combo, and then try a little more!

If you are with one of our preferred vendors who includes cake in their package, that will cover everything on our basic menu. The tasting box assigned to preferred venues is meant to give you a taste of what is included, and choosing flavors from this box will not cost you anything extra! If you do prefer going for a different box that is totally fine! Just note that some of our premium options are included in the the other boxes and those flavors will incur an upgraded cost per serving!

Basics Preferred Vendor Tasting Box

This box is suggested to any couples getting married at one of our preferred venues. This box will include the basics, which are covered by your package.

Premium Options Tasting Box

This box is offered as an upgrade option to any couples getting married at one of our preferred venues. This box will include Premium flavors, which are NOT covered there will be an out of pocket price per serving.

Filling: Cannoli Cream, Raspberry Jam, Chocolate Ganache, Lemon Curd

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

I AM GETTING MARRIED, HOW SOON DO I NEED TO PLACE MY ORDER?

we suggest 2-3 months prior to connect initially, once you have a confirmed head count and an idea of cake design a little closer to your date we can finalize your order! new orders will not be accepted with less than two weeks advanced notice.

HOW LARGE WILL MY CAKE BE?

the size of your cake will depend on the amount of guests you are interested in serving, view our cake serving chart here

MY VENUE PROVIDES CAKE FROM THE CAKERY, WHAT DOES THAT INCLUDE?

all packages with our preferred venues include basic Cake, filling and covering flavors anything premium will still be available at an additional cost to you per serving. we have a designated venue tasting box to ensure all of the options you sample will be covered by your package. if you prefer to choose a different box please note that there may be out of pocket costs associated with the delicious flavors inside!

we are ON A BUDGET WHAT IS THE MOST AFFORDABLE OPTION?

we are able to work with all couples and budgets and will do our best to give you something lovely and delicious for your big day.

do you have cake toppers or should we supply one?

we do not have cake toppers in store, we are able to hand make fondant pieces or order others online for you. but if you prefer a customized topper we do suggest pre-ordering in advance!

do you have cake stands? how big does the cake stand need to be?

we do have stands available to rent, they do need to be returned damage-free to The Cakery after your big day. sometimes it is easier to work with the company you are doing rentals with to coordinate a cake stand rental, or a good trip to home goods will also suffice! cake stand size will depend on the size of your cake, but, typically whatever your bottom tier is, add 6” and that is the size we suggest for your cake stand!
